The industrial/organizational psychology graduate program includes both the master's and doctoral degrees. Industrial-organizational psychology is the scientific study of the workplace. Rigor and methods of psychology are applied to issues of critical relevance to business, including talent management, coaching, assessment, selection, training, organizational development, performance and work-life balance. Alumni from the K-State program work in a variety of academic and applied positions around the world. The doctoral program is unique in the state of Kansas and has been in existence since the 1950s.
