Finalists for interim director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning to present April 25 and 26

Three finalists have been selected for the position of interim director for the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning.

Gregory Eiselein, professor of English and chair of the search committee, announced that the finalists are: Jana Fallin, professor of music education and university distinguished teaching scholar; Bonnie Lynn-Sherow, associate professor of history and director of the Chapman Center for Rural Studies; and Donald A. Saucier, associate professor of psychology and director of undergraduate studies for psychology.

"The search committee has identified three experienced and qualified candidates who each have a deep interest in teaching and learning," Eiselein said.

Each candidate will deliver a public presentation and take questions. The schedule for each public seminar will be:

  • Fallin: 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, Room 207, K-State Student Union.
  • Lynn-Sherow: 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, Room 207, K-State Student Union.
  • Saucier: 2-3 p.m. Thursday, April 26, Room 207, K-State Student Union.

For those unable to attend in person, the presentations will be recorded and archived for viewing until the online surveys close at midnight on Saturday, April 28. The link to these presentations along with the position description and copies of the candidates' letters of application, their CVs and full schedules will be available online.
