Research and the State: Graduate student poster session Monday

By Megan Miller

The Graduate Student Council invites K-State faculty and staff to attend Research and the State, Monday, Oct. 31, to learn about the state-relevant scholarly research being conducted by K-State graduate students.

The first round of judging will be conducted from 9-11 a.m. The second round of judging will be conducted from 1-3 p.m.

Graduate students will give poster presentations of their research and will discuss the implications their work has for important issues in the state of Kansas. Through two rounds of judging, K-State faculty and administrators will select the top 10 students who will present their posters to represent K-State at the ninth annual Capitol Graduate Research Summit in Topeka, Feb. 16, 2012.  For more information, please visit http://www.k-state.edu/grad/studentcouncil/researchforums.html.
