Submitted by David Carter

David Carter, director of the Kansas Energy Program, engineering extension, has been invited to conduct a four-day environmental management systems workshop March 28-31 for approximately 25 European students at the Estonian University of Life Sciences, Tartu, Estonia. Carter is a registered auditor for the international environmental management systems standard, ISO 14001.

The environmental management systems workshop is funded through the university in Estonia and approved by Kalev Sepp, the university's department head of nature conservation and landscape management.
