Safe Zone sexual assault awareness and prevention training

Randy Myles, of the K-State Police Department, will offer a Safe Zone training, "Sexual Violence: Building awareness that makes prevention possible," from noon to 1 p.m. Feb. 8 in 123 Leadership Studies Building. Registration for the training is available online

This course offers a proactive approach to building awareness of sexual misconduct through use of tools such as bystander intervention. This course also teaches participants how to advocate for victims and survivors of sexual violence and discusses campus resources.
