Final week: Nominate your student employees for K-State Student Employee of the Year

Submitted by Ashley Bailey

The Career Center is calling for supervisors to nominate their outstanding student employees for the 2017 Student Employee of the Year award. The award ceremony will be Tuesday, April 11, in the K-State Alumni Center as part of National Student Employment Week.

Help the Career Center recognize and reward student employees who go above and beyond to make contributions to your unit and the K-State family. Honor your student's hard work and dedication by nominating them for this award.

In order for your nominee to be considered, please submit the campus nomination form by Friday, Feb. 10.

Nominators must be prepared to describe in detail the student employee's:

  • Reliability
  • Quality of work
  • Initiative
  • Professionalism
  • Defining story

Finalists, their families and supervisors/nominators will be invited to participate in the award ceremony and the winner will be nominated for national, state and regional Student Employee of the Year recognition.

Read the 2017 Student Employee of the Year Award guidelines, nomination procedures and eligibility for more information.
