Women's studies faculty member presents at environmental history conference

Valerie Padilla Carroll, instructor of women's studies, presented at a roundtable discussion on integrating humanities into sustainability at the American Society for Environmental History 2012 Conference in Madison, Wis., at the end of March.

As the chair and participant in the roundtable "Reading Leopold across Disciplines: Problems and Potentials," Padilla Carroll's talk discussed bridging divides between radical and mainstream environmentalisms through the writings of Aldo Leopold.
