Academic Assistance Center welcomes two new academic coaches

Submitted by Madison Smith

Leslie Bell and Nick Marshall have joined the Academic Assistance Center's staff as new academic coaches in 101 Holton Hall.

Academic coaches meet with students to assist with strengthening academic skills, discovering purpose and reaching academic goals.

Bell received his master's in higher education administration from the University of Akron and has experience as a student success coach at the University of Akron. Bell looks forward to working with students to equip them to take charge of their own success.

Marshall received his master's in higher education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and has experience as an academic advisor in the Center for Student Success and Retention at Washburn University. University of Arkansas at Little Rock is excited about the conversations he will have with students, both in celebration of successes and in collaboration through struggles.
