Royal Purple yearbook wins national award

Submitted by Kelly Glasscock

The Associated Collegiate Press recently awarded a Pacemaker to the 2015 Royal Purple yearbook at its National College Media Convention Oct. 22 in Washington, D.C.

Collegiate journalism's preeminent award for yearbooks is no stranger to the Royal Purple as it is one of the most decorated yearbooks in the country; however, this will mark the first time earning a Pacemaker since 2010.

The Royal Purple yearbook is created each year by a staff of students to encapsulate the highlights and events at Kansas State University.

A copy of this year's yearbook can be reserved online
