Open enrollment for optional life insurance ends Oct. 31

Optional life insurance is available to all benefit-eligible employees in either the KPERS or the Kansas Board of Regents retirement systems. Open enrollment ends Oct. 31. During open enrollment most members can get guaranteed coverage. You don't need to do anything if you are happy with your current coverage. Any new coverage is effective January 2017.

KPERS members can enroll online through the KPERS member portal.

KBOR members can download the PDF enrollment form and return to Standard Insurance Company at the address on the form.
