Register to vote today in Hale Library

Submitted by Jason Coleman

The K-State Young Democrats and the K-State College Republicans, both official student organizations, are joining forces to conduct a voter registration drive from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 13 in Hale Library. The voter registration table will be located on the first floor near the entrance to Einstein Brothers Bagels.

Members of both organizations will be available to answer any questions you may have about voter registration and help you complete any of the following tasks:

  • Check to see if you are currently registered to vote in Kansas.
  • Register to vote in Kansas for the first time. Individuals who are registered to vote in Kansas also are eligible to vote in federal elections.
  • Update your Kansas voter registration with a new address.
  • Apply for an advance ballot by mail.
  • Learn about options for early voting in person.
  • Discover where you will need to vote if you wish to vote in person on Nov. 8.

Everyone who is eligible to vote in Kansas, regardless of party affiliation, is welcome to register at the table.
