Submitted by Hannah Gillespie

Schedule your blood donation today and choose to do something life changing and momentous, not just for you, but for someone else too. Show that you bleed purple and donate at the Kansas State University blood drive this September. Give blood. Change a life. Be proud!

Blood drive schedule:

  • Sept. 27-29: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the K-State Student Union, and 1 to 7 p.m. in Putman Hall.
  • Sept. 30: 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the K-State Student Union.

All presenting donors will be entered into a drawing for the opportunity to watch the Wildcats and coach Bill Snyder practice with a friend.

Note: Offers and items are nontransferable, not redeemable for cash and available while supplies last. Drawing to watch the Wildcats practice with coach Snyder will be available for the winning blood donor and one friend.

Schedule an appointment online, call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or use the Blood Donor App and enter sponsor code: KSU.

Help us spread the word through social media and share your blood donation experience with friends. Every donor that posts a selfie sharing their blood donation will be entered for a chance to win a gift card from Texas Roadhouse. Note: All presenting donors will be entered for a chance to win 1 of 20 Texas Roadhouse gift cards.

If you recently donated blood or have an appointment scheduled, thank you on behalf of the patients whose lives you may have touched.

At age 16-17 depending on state, individuals in generally good health who meet weight and height requirements may become eligible to donate blood. Please review the eligibility requirements as some states require parental consent. When donating, bring your Red Cross blood donor card or other form of ID.

Blood drive locations and hours are subject to change. Visit redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
