Kansas State University is a member of the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research, an international consortium of more than 750 academic institutions and research organizations.

The 2016 Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research Data Fair takes place Monday through Thursday, Sept. 26-29. Webinars are free and open to the public, but attendees must register for each webinar they want to attend.

The consortium provides leadership and training in data access, curation and methods of analysis for the social science research community.

The consortium also maintains a data archive of more than 250,000 files of research in the social sciences. It hosts 16 specialized collections of data in education, aging, criminal justice, substance abuse, terrorism and other fields.

If you have questions about the consortium, its data or services, contact K-State's official representative, Rebel Cummings-Sauls, director of the Center for the Advancement of Digital Scholarship, at 786-532-7444 or cads@k-state.edu.
