Associate professor of history Heather McCrea presents at international environmental studies conference
Heather L. McCrea, associate professor in the history department, presented "Golfo de Peste: La fusión de las narrativas del medio ambiente y medicina para reconstruir la historia de América Latina y el Caribe," translated to English as "Gulf of Disease: Merging Environmental and Medical Narratives to Reconstruct Latin American and Caribbean History," at the eighth symposium of the Society of Latin American and Caribbean Historians Aug. 2-5 in Puebla, Mexico.
