January 2017 intersession course proposals due May 27

Submitted by Rosanna Vail

Kansas State University Global Campus is accepting course proposals for January 2017 intersession. Intersession provides on-campus, off-campus and online courses during the weeks between semesters to help students graduate on time.

The deadline to submit course proposals for January 2017 intersession is May 27. January intersession will be Dec. 27, 2016, through Jan. 13, 2017, and is part of the spring 2017 semester.

Intersession courses have permanently moved to the 50/50 model of compensation currently in place for regular semesters. Departments will directly pay instructors an agreed-upon rate, and the balance of funds remain in the college/department as income.

Submit your intersession courses through the online form. For assistance with overload approval, course submissions or questions, contact the intersession program coordinator, Jo Maseberg-Tomlinson, at jam4545@k-state.edu or 785-532-2570.
