University distinguished professor of agronomy serves on international initiative on cropping systems in Africa

Chuck Rice, university distinguished professor of agronomy

Chuck Rice, university distinguished professor of agronomy, was asked to serve as research consultant for the Soil Quality and Nutrient Management for Sustainable Food Production in Mulch-based Cropping Systems in Sub-Saharan Africa initiative, funded by the International Atomic Energy Agency. The first research coordination meeting was in Vienna, Austria, in February.
