Making Your Own Way: Entrepreneurship in the Arts

By Fatemah Al-Qadfan

Students from the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance will participate in an all-school convocation, Making Your Own Way: Entrepreneurship in the Arts, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. March 24 at All Faiths Chapel.

Guests include Chad Jackson, director of the K-State Center for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship, Bryan Pinkall, assistant professor in the music program, and recent graduates Shon Ruffin, theatre; and Caitlyn Vohs, dance.

This event is free and open to all K-State faculty, staff and students.

The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance is home to more than 500 majors and minors, 50 faculty and four administrative support staff. In recent years, our faculty and students have performed or presented to audiences in six continents, with more plans for the future. Our students are creative, confident and self-motivated, which puts them at the forefront of the global entrepreneurship movement.
