Army dietitian to give 42nd annual Grace Shugart Lecture

Kansas State University alumnus retired Col. George Dilly, '98, will present, "Military Life: Kansas State Alum Reflects on 30 Year Career as Army Dietitian" for the 42nd annual Grace Shugart Lecture at 4:15 p.m. March 31 in the Leadership Studies Building's Town Hall. 

Dilly's last active duty position was as the U.S. Army's medical command chief dietitian and nutrition program manager. As such, he oversaw 155 active duty dietitians and the function of hospital nutrition services throughout the army. Dilly is a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College and the National War College. His overseas assignments include SHAPE Belgium and deployment to Bosnia-Herzegovina, where he served as deputy commander and chief of nutrition services for the 115th Field Hospital.
