Nominations open for Celebrating Service and Leadership Community Service Awards
The Staley School of Leadership Studies is currently accepting nominations for the Celebrating Service and Leadership Community Service Awards. Applications are due by noon March 23 and can be sent to HandsOn Kansas State at handson@k-state.edu. More information and applications can be found online.
Through these awards, the school honors students, community partners and special individuals who have volunteered their time and leadership working to enhance, improve and impact the greater good of the campus and community. The school recognizes that volunteering and community service can lead to increased civic involvement and leadership, not only for college students but for youth and community members.
Honorees will be notified by March 28 with the expectation that they will be attending the Staley School of Leadership Studies' Celebrating Service and Leadership recognition event on April 24 at the Leadership Studies Building on the K-State campus. One honoree will be selected for each category: Outstanding K-State Student Volunteer, Outstanding K-State Student Organization, Outstanding Community Service Partner and Outstanding Service Champion.
