Call for nominations for distance education student and adviser awards

Kansas State University’s Division of Continuing Education invites you to nominate distance education students and distance education advisers for 2012 DCE Awards.

The Extraordinary Student Award is given to a currently enrolled distance education student who has overcome an obstacle in the path of their education and who demonstrates academic excellence, focus and career ambition in their studies at K-State.

The Outstanding Advising Award is given to a K-State faculty or staff member who has demonstrated exceptional ability in assisting and advising distance education students.

To nominate a distance education student or adviser, complete the nomination form at http://www.dce.k-state.edu/students/services/awards and submit via e-mail or campus mail. Nominations must be received by the Division of Continuing Education by Friday, March 9.

Recipients will be presented their award at the Division’s honors and awards reception May 1.
