The weekend will wrap up at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21 with Military Appreciation Day and the final rodeo performance.

The Kansas State University Rodeo Club prides itself in being a student-led organization. Throughout each year the Rodeo Club hosts many events, our most recognized event being the annual Kansas State University Intercollegiate Rodeo. This rodeo is hosted in historic Weber Arena on the K-State campus and pulls in the highest attendance of all the Central Plains Region Rodeos.

The Annual Kansas State University Intercollegiate Rodeo is sanctioned through the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association and brings in more that 300 contestants from the 20 schools that make up our region. These students and more than 10,000 spectators flood Manhattan and Weber Arena throughout the three night, four performance event. Everyone seems to jump at the opportunity to get the thrilling experience the western way of life has to offer. These thrills include saddle and bareback bronc riding, team roping, barrel racing, tie-down roping, goat tying, steer wrestling, breakaway roping and bull riding. All competing student athletes must be in good academic standing with their college and be a card holding member of the rodeo association to compete in collegiate rodeo.
