New advertising opportunity available for colleges/departments/units in the official K-State Visitors Guide

Submitted by Ashley Martin

The Division of Communications and Marketing, in partnership with New Student Services and the Berney Family Welcome Center, is in the beginning stages of creating the first official K-State Visitors Guide, an important new publication that will serve the university at large and the many visitors to our Manhattan campus.

With planned completion and distribution set for October 2016, the guide will feature editorial content about the university, highlighting programs, strengths, opportunities for engagement in the campus community and more.

Campus Publishers, our visitors guide partner, will sell advertising to accompany the editorial content. This available advertising space offers an excellent opportunity to highlight your college, division, department or unit with prospective students/families and other visitors to campus. Advertising from local Manhattan businesses also will be included in the guide.

We have negotiated a university department advertising discount of 20 percent off the rate card rates. Please note this rate includes the creation of your ad if necessary.

A Campus Publishers representative may contact you in the coming weeks to determine your interest in advertising in the official K-State Visitors Guide and answer any questions you might have. For more information, you also may contact Randy Goldner, associate publisher, at 800-807-1013 extension 102.

There also will be a companion website and mobile app for the official K-State Visitors Guide, with additional opportunities to promote your college, division, department or unit. Make sure you ask your Campus Publishers contact about digital marketing opportunities.

Thanks for your collaboration on this important K-State publication. Please feel free to contact Ashley Martin, director of marketing, if you have any additional questions at ashley07@k-state.edu.
