Writing Center open for spring term

Submitted by Cydney Alexis

The Writing Center is open for the spring semester. Please encourage all students to utilize this free service.

Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible for one hour per week of free tutoring from a trained writing consultant. We tutor writing in all disciplines and genres including honors projects, presentations, posters, lab reports and dissertations. Students can come to the center to brainstorm, get help with understanding an assignment or talk through a piece of writing.

We offer appointments at the Writing Center in 122D English/Counseling Services Building, at our various satellite locations — Hale Library, Radina's in the Leadership Studies Building, International Student and Scholar Services — and online.

Do you know an undergraduate student who is a strong writer and/or communicator? We hire undergraduate students in all disciplines and seek students with unique perspectives and team player attitudes.

Interested students must take English 500 — Writing Center Theory and Practice — which is available every semester.
