HALO hosts fundraiser to send students to conference
The Hispanic American Leadership Organization, or HALO, is raising money to send 11 students to Chicago for the annual United States Hispanic Leadership Institute conference. HALO will host a fundraiser from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at HuHot Mongolian Grill.
All money raised in that time frame will go to funding the trip.
The conference, which will be Feb. 18-Feb. 21, is a weekend of empowerment and is filled with workshops about pertinent issues and ways to enhance leadership among students on campus.
