White House OSTP assistant director for scientific data and information to participate in Zoom meeting

Please join the Center for the Advancement of Digital Scholarship at 11 a.m. Nov. 17 in 118 Hale Library for a Zoom meeting with Jerry Sheehan, the assistant director for scientific data and information from the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
Sheehan is responsible for implementing administration efforts to increase public access to the results of federally funded research — both publications and digital data — and to enhance the reliability of scientific research results.
Prior to his recent appointment to this position, Sheehan led efforts to develop and implement National Institutes of Health policies for improving management of and access to NIH-funded data and information.
