Athletic training quiz bowl team earns slot in regional meet
The K-State team placed second in the Kansas Athletic Training Quiz Bowl this week on the Kansas State University campus and will move on to regional competition in March.
Team members were Katelyn Musil, junior; Jesica Steele, senior; Amanda Todavchick, junior; and Tyler Tunnell, junior. All are athletic training majors in the Department of Human Nutrition, College of Human Ecology.
Faculty sponsors are Phillip Vardiman, director of athletic training, and Morgan Campbell, instructor.
Nine teams entered the competition at the Kansas Athletic Trainer's Society annual meeting.
The regional competition in Springfield, Missouri, will include teams from Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Iowa and Missouri.
