Results from the Staley School of Leadership Studies and Harvesters mobile food distribution

By Ryan Haxton

The Staley School of Leadership Studies and Harvesters-Community Food Network teamed up to host a mobile food distribution on Oct. 9. This mobile food distribution was open to any Kansas State University or Manhattan community members to provide produce and other needed food items at no cost.

This mobile food distribution served 216 individuals in the Manhattan community, with 83 percent of these individuals being K-State students. In total, 6,534 pounds of food was distributed to participants.

The Staley School of Leadership Studies and Harvesters are planning their next mobile food distribution for Friday, Nov. 13, in the C-1 parking lot of the K-State Recreation Center. Learn more.
