Fast Pass: New system for students who preregister for the All-University Career Fair

Submitted by Maya Tilmon

The All-University Career Fair from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, and Wednesday, Sept. 23 in Bramlage Coliseum will host more than 300 companies, industries and agencies that students may network with to learn about career and internship opportunities.

Students are encouraged to dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their resumes.

The first 200 students who preregister for the All-University Career Fair will receive a printed nametag, lanyard and 50 free printed resumes. Students also will be able to bypass the nonregistered student line upon arriving to the fair.

Preregistration is open until 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18. After students register they can pick up their nametag from 1-5 p.m. in Holtz Hall as early as the next day. The last day to pick up your nametag will be 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21.

Also, All-University Career Fair hosts several events to help prepare students for the fair. Students can pick up gently used professional clothing at the Career Closet and get their resume critiqued at the Resume Critique event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, and Thursday, Sept. 17, in the K-State Student Union Cottonwood Room. Students also will get a chance to make last-minute resume improvements the night before the fair at the Late Night Resume Madness from 7-10 p.m. Sept. 21 in the Alumni Center.
