Union Program Council invites you to spend "An Evening with The Onion," America’s finest source for international, national and local satirical news.

The Onion, featuring parodies of current events, editorials, interviews and stock quotes, has become an omnipotent news empire. The news network reaches millions of fans through print, broadcast, radio, mobile apps, books and, in January 2011, two new television shows on the Independent Film Channel and Comedy Central. The website acts as the central hub for The Onion and was described by Time magazine as “the funniest site on the Internet.”

Watch The Onion live and in action at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, in McCain Auditorium. Tickets for the show are available at the McCain box office. K-State students may purchase tickets in advance for $3 or $5 at the door. Tickets for non-students are available for $5 in advance and $7 at the door.

For more ticket information, visit k-state.edu/mccain or call 785-532-6428. For a complete list of all Union Program Council activities, visit www.k-state.edu/upc or call the office at 785-532-6571.
