Provost April Mason to give Vernon Larson International Luncheon Lecture Feb. 14

Submitted by Office of International Programs

Provost April Mason will present "The World isn't really flat, but it does seem smaller. What does this mean to Kansas State University?" as part of the Vernon Larson International Luncheon Lecture Series at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14.

Lunch is optional and begins at 11:45 a.m. The lunch buffet costs $15 and reservations are required. All events are held in Holiday Inn at the Campus ballroom and are sponsored by the Friends of International Programs and the office of international programs.

The lecture series was created in 1979 by Vernon C. Larson, then director of international agricultural programs, and is the longest-running at K-State. With six presentations per year, presented during the fall and spring semesters, the series offers an opportunity for the K-State community to hear presentations from faculty and individuals who have recently participated in an extensive overseas activity or who are involved in major international activities.

Reservations for the luncheon can be made by email or by phone at 532-5990 and should be made by noon of the Friday before each luncheon. You may also attend the lecture portion of this event for no cost.
