New eight-week courses starting soon at UFM

Submitted by Kayla Savage

If you still need a credit hour achieve full-time status, UFM Recreational and Lifetime Fitness classes have enrollment spaces open for the second set of eight-week classes.

UFM Community Learning Center, through K-State Global Campus, offers many one-credit-hour options to complete your spring 2015 schedule. Our instructors are professionals in their field of teaching and are able to provide students with a unique college learning experience.

We have eight-week courses beginning in a few weeks, as well as classes that can be completed over a weekend or two.

Some examples of classes still open for enrollment include first aid/CPR, women’s self-defense, lifeguard training, Zumba dance, turbo kick, 5k-half-marathon training, indoor cycling, boxing levels 1-4 and yogilates.

If you think one of our classes might interest you, please read a complete listing of our courses in spring, summer and fall. Enroll through KSIS for any of the classes. If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to email UFM’s credit course coordinator and student contact, Erin Bishop at erbish@k-state.edu or call UFM Community Learning Center at 785-539-8763.
