Dempsey-Swopes named senior investigator, deputy Title IX coordinator

Danielle Dempsey-Swopes, J.D., is joining Human Capital Services as the senior investigator/deputy Title IX coordinator for Institutional Equity. Dempsey-Swopes brings in-depth experience in all areas related to inclusive excellence, including diversity with inclusion training, educational awareness, affirmative action planning and consultation for accommodations.

Most recently, Dempsey-Swopes worked as an adjunct professor at Washburn University. She has worked as the director of equal opportunity programs for Emory University. She has a distinguished background as an administrative appeals judge and has contributed to the University of Kansas in affirmative action.

Ameerah McBride will be transitioning her career to pursue other opportunities, and Human Capital Services and the university wish her well.

Human Capital Services also congratulates Michelle Godinet-White who will transfer to employee relations and report to Charlotte Self, director.
