Leading through change, challenges and crises the topic of the upcoming Coffman retreat

Submitted by Katie Mayes

The Coffman Leadership Institute's annual alumni retreat will be from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Jan. 4, at the Leadership Studies Building. This year's topic is "Building K-Staters through Change, Challenges and Crises."

Charlie Griffin from K-State's School of Family Studies and Human Services will help us navigate our way through issues of change, challenge and crisis as they apply to our everyday personal and professional work lives.

Seminar attendees will then have the opportunity to choose two breakout sessions, each of which will provide specific discussion points and examples of ways to successfully address these areas as leaders. The breakout facilitators will be K-State's Kris Boone on change, Robert Wilson on challenges, and Rusty Andrews on crises. Boone will also offer an optional extended session following lunch titled “Uncovering Your Personal Immunity to Change.”

Coffman Institute alumni were recently send an email with the registration form attached. Registration must be submitted by Dec. 20. If you did not receive the flier, please contact Kelli Cox at kellicox@k-state.edu.
