Announcing RSCAD Momentum Newsletter
Dear K-State faculty, staff and students:
This K-State Today issue marks the launch of our new Research, Scholarly and Creative Activities, and Discovery, or RSCAD, weekly newsletter, RSCAD Momentum.
You will notice that the newsletter has several sections. The purpose of the first section, "K-State in the News," allows us to learn more about our K-State colleagues and their work through the eyes of the national news media, i.e., we can see how and where others see us.
The second section, "From our Peers," gives us the opportunity to learn about the work going on at other institutions — in this manner we can find new collaborative opportunities, exciting ideas, and we can simply appreciate that there is a larger RSCAD world beyond the bounds of K-State.
Of course the third section of the newsletter includes a list of new funding opportunities — cleverly titled "New Funding Opportunities," while the fourth includes general RSCAD national issues or topics of discussion, "RSCAD Trending Topics."
The newsletter is a work in progress — we welcome feedback. Thanks to a great communications and marketing team for creating RSCAD Momentum!
Be reminded that there is also a twitter feed for K-State RSCAD information and activities. Please follow @KState_RSCAD. We will be adding a workshops and events calendar to the Office of the Vice President for Research website so stay tuned for that.
