Critical Incident Response Team training for new administrators, department heads, student life staff Aug. 28

The annual Critical Incident Response Team training, WTD143, will be from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 28 in Room 226 of the K-State Student Union for new staff. Any new administrator, department head or student life staff member who may be asked to serve as a team member should attend this training.

The training includes information about the team's policies, procedures and guidelines, as well as information on the threat management policy, the standards and procedures for voluntary or involuntary withdrawal from the university for seriously disruptive behaviors policy, the K-State emergency management plan and the student code of conduct. A tabletop exercise of a team situation also will be conducted.
