Foy presents at TransKansas II Conference

Jo Foy, doctoral student in curriculum and instruction, will present a brief literature review of educational research on transchildren in K-12 environments and facilitate a discussion of the experiences of transchildren at the TransKansas II Conference at 1 p.m. Friday, July 11, at the College Hill United Methodist Church in Wichita.
The presentation and discussion will lead to an audience participation activity to suggest the top three education research needs for transchildren in K-12 environments.
TransKansas II is sponsored by the Kansas Statewide Transgender Education Project, with the purpose to end discrimination against transgender Kansans through educational initiatives and activities.
