Increase your financial IQ through the Kansas Financial Learning Center

Submitted by Human Resources

The Kansas securities commissioner, state bank commissioner and state treasurer are offering all Kansas state employees access to the Kansas Financial Learning Center. In this new interactive learning platform, employees will learn about investments, credit scores, mortgages and many more critical money management skills through short 10-minute learning modules.

Visit the new Financial Learning Center to earn HealthQuest credits:

1. Register for the Kansas Financial Learning Center.

2. Choose from the following learning modules:

  • Savings and investments
  • Mortgages
  • 529 savings plan
  • Payment types and credit cards
  • Credit scores and reports
  • Identity protection
  • Insurance and taxes
  • Financing higher education

For each learning module completed, employees will earn one HealthQuest credit, up to a maximum of 5 credits. In addition, employees who complete all modules by July 30 are eligible to win a new iPad!

The State Employee Health Plan HealthQuest program mission is to partner with employees to improve their health and well-being and to better manage health care costs.
