Sneed, Roberts, Sauer publish in food safety book
Jeannie Sneed, Kevin Roberts and Kevin Sauer with the hospitality management and dietetics department in the College of Human Ecology have published chapters in the new book "Food safety: Researching the hazard in hazardous foods" from Apple Academic Press in New Jersey.
Sneed, department head and professor, and Roberts, associate professor, wrote the chapter, "Legislative process, regulatory trends and associations." Their co-author is Brenda Halbrook, director of the Office of Food Safety, USDA Food and Nutrition Service.
Sneed and Sauer, assistant professor, wrote the chapter, "Food safety in schools."
