Title IX training will be offered May 19

Submitted by Learning and Development

Title IX training, WTD168, will be presented by Ameerah McBride, investigator/deputy Title IX coordinator of affirmative action, from 9-10:30 a.m. Monday, May 19, in Room 226 at the K-State Student Union.

Sexual harassment and assault on campus is a serious issue for all members of the K-State community. This training is designed for all students, faculty and staff and will focus on defining the university's legal obligation to enforce Title IX regulations, review the complaint and investigation process, as well as provide information on prevention methods such as bystander intervention.

To register for one of these opportunities, you can either sign up through HRIS self-service or send an email to learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu. When sending an email, please include your name, employee ID and the course title.
