Hazardous waste awareness training available in May, June and July
Environmental health and safety is continuing to offer sessions on Hazardous Waste Awareness Training, WTD080.
The intended audience is individuals responsible for hazardous waste management, specifically for researchers and employees who generate the waste material and whose responsibility continues through the transportation and disposal process. This training emphasizes the importance of properly identifying, handling, and disposing of all hazardous wastes.
Sessions will be offered:
- Wednesday, May 7 at 10 a.m. (Session 117)
- Tuesday, June 3 at 2 p.m. (Session 118)
- Wednesday, July 9 at 10 a.m. (Session 119)
Training will be in 011 Edwards Hall in one-hour sessions. There is no charge to participants, but registration is necessary to ensure adequate seating and materials. Register for training through HRIS Self Enrollment or email firstname.lastname@example.org and include your name, department, employee ID number, course title, course number, WTD080, and date desired.
