K-State hockey enters elimination round of the national tournament

By Jerry Remsbecker

The K-State Inline Hockey club finished pool play in the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association invitational tournament in Philadelphia with a 4-0 shutout against Boston University.

The club opened pool play with a loss to University California-Irvine, then beat Kennesaw State 6-4, followed by the shutout of Boston University. This gave the club the No. 2 seed in our pool.

At 6:30 p.m. Monday, the club face St. Louis University in an elimination game. The game can be found online. A win tonight will get the club into the Sweet 16.
