A message from President Kirk Schulz and Athletics Director John Currie regarding the Big 12 Conference:
"We have consistently and clearly stated throughout this process that maintaining and strengthening the Big 12 is our top priority. We value the relationships and tradition of our conference partnerships and remain optimistic that the future of the Big 12 is bright. We are fully engaged and working diligently to help resolve the concerns that exist and ultimately build a stronger Big 12 Conference."
