Dissanayake named to national committee

Sunanda Dissanayake, K-State associate professor of civil engineering, has been appointed to a three-year term on the Transportation Research Board Committee on Low-Volume Roads. She will serve from April 15, 2014, through April 14, 2017.

The Transportation Research Board is a division of the National Research Council, a private, nonprofit institution that provides expertise in science and technology to the government, the public, and the scientific and engineering communities. The National Research Council is jointly administered by the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Engineering and the Institute of Medicine
