Submitted by Communications and Marketing

Diane Swanson, the Edgerley family chair in business administration and professor of management in the College of Business Administration, has been named a distinguished visiting scholar in Benedictine University's Doctor of Philosophy/Doctor of Business Administration Program in Values-Drive Leadership.

The doctoral program is for senior leaders. Swanson will be teaching the course Leadership and Corporate Social Responsibility on the university's campus in Lisle, Ill., which is near Chicago. The course will be offered May 16-18.

Swanson will be using her newest book, "Embedding CSR into Corporate Culture: Challenging the Executive Mind," which was published in February by Palgrave Macmillan.
