More dates announced for fire extinguisher training

The environmental health and safety department suggests annual fire extinguisher training for all university employees. This training will be offered at 2 p.m. in 011 Edwards Hall on the following dates:
- March 11 — Session 30
- March 18 — Session 31
- April 1 — Session 32
- April 8 — Session 33
- April 15 — Session 34
- April 22 — Session 35
- April 29 — Session 36
Prior to the training sessions, participants must complete an online training course, Fire Extinguisher Training, which will include a printed certificate that should be brought to the face-to-face training session. The hands-on training with the extinguisher is outdoors, so please dress accordingly.
To register for one of these opportunities, you can either sign up through HRIS self-service or send an email to learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu. When sending an email, please include your name, employee ID and the course title.
