Nominate student leaders for Student Foundation today

Submitted by Ellen Collingwood

K-State Student Foundation is seeking nominations for new members. As faculty and staff of the university who interact and have great influence on bright student leaders each day, we are reaching out to you in search of qualified nominees hoping to boost their impact and involvement on campus.

Student Foundation is a branch of the KSU Foundation, and activities include staffing alumni events, meeting with potential donors, and most noticeably, facilitating the K-State Proud Student Campaign, which has raised nearly $700,000 for students over the last seven years.

We are currently looking for passionate, philanthropic-minded freshmen, sophomores and juniors with strong communication skills who are interested in sharing the impact of philanthropic gifts to the university. As the face of the student body to alumni and corporate sponsors, we realize the importance of having a diverse organization.

To nominate students for Student Foundation, please send an email including the students’ names and email addresses to Ellen Collingwood, vice president of membership, at ellencol@k-state.edu by Friday, Feb. 14.

If you have any questions about nominating students or the application process in general, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Learn more about Student Foundation.
