Minnesota Life Insurance and KPERS offer optional group life insurance enrollment

Submitted by Stephanie Harvey

Minnesota Life and KPERS announce a guaranteed issue optional group life insurance open enrollment period for Feb. 1-28 for benefits-eligible employees, KPERS and Kansas Board of Regents.

This means that employees can sign up for $5,000 to $25,000 coverage without proof of health. If you missed signing up during your initial hire period — whether last year or last century — now is the time to apply. Additionally, KPERS offers life insurance for spouses, as defined by Kansas law, with guaranteed coverage during this open enrollment period.
