Daniel Runfola, research associate at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, will present the public lecture "Green Lawns in Ipswich: Enjoy Them While You Can" at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, in Room 227 of the K-State Student Union.

Runfola is a candidate for the nature-society assistant professor position in the geography department. He is seeking to add research expertise in the areas of complex system thinking and geospatial computational methods to address issues of nature-society interactions, population or health geography.

The presentation is sponsored by the Beta Psi chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the International Geography Honor Society and the geography department.
