Submitted by Communications and Marketing

On Friday, 13 representatives from Kansas higher education institutions will meet with the Kansas Board of Regents members in Topeka to discuss the regents' recently adopted policy on social media.

K-State representatives are Julia Keen, associate professor of architectural engineering and construction science and president of the K-State Faculty Senate, and Jeff Morris, vice president for Communications and Marketing.

Keen and Morris will be joined by colleagues from Emporia State University, Fort Hays State University, Pittsburg State University, University of Kansas, University of Kansas Medical Center and Wichita State University.

Friday's meeting will begin the review process.

The new Regents' Social Media Policy was passed at the board's Dec. 18-19, 2013, meeting.
