Professional Development Conference for students at K-State
The 2014 Professional Development Conference, hosted by the Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow, will be Feb. 6-8, 2014.
Students of all majors and standings are welcome. This national conference will pull Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow members from across the nation and feature agricultural tours, breakout sessions, a crisis communication scenario and more.
Speakers will include K-State's Barry Flinchbaugh and Gary Conklin. They will be addressing issues such as responding to crises in agriculture and communicating agricultural policy issues.
In addition to all of the informational and learning portions to the conference, professional resume critiques and head shot photographs for attendees will be available.
Conference registration is $60 if you register prior to Jan. 17, 2014. After that date, registration costs $80. Registration includes a T-shirt and all meals.
